Systems Engineer

LOCATION

Manassas, VA

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of Linux, CORBA, and XDAL a plus.

BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

• Provide analytical, acquisition and technical engineering support under various DoD contracts.
• Assist in the system design, development, implementation, and test activities related to engineering of functional requirements for complex software, hardware and associated support systems.
• Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems.
• Apply engineering principles to perform functional capability implementation planning, system architecture design, computer system integration and configuration management.
• Will be responsible for supporting segments or phases of broader, more complex projects.
• Work with customers and partners in a cooperative professional manner.
• Schedule must be flexible to accommodate all shifts.

TRAVEL

• Approximately 25%.

CLEARANCE

• Must be able to obtain and hold a government secret security clearance.
